2. Lundi Gras"Fat Monday", the day before Mardi Gras ("Far Tuesday"), is now a day of festivities in New Orleans.
See this listing for the annual New Orleans pet parades which start with Barkus on February 12 in the French Quarter and continue even past Mardi Gras Day and the season of people parades. You and your dog can be part of the parade or party of the crowd.
