Morning Call in the Oaks - in the Casino Building in City Park - is just awesome. There couldn't be a better location. Inside it feels like you are at the old French Quarter Morning Call - Outside is the best outdoor place to have a cafe au lait in the city.
Morning Call is open 24 hours and it's a perfect stop if you are going to Celebration in the Oaks. In addition to the iconic cafe au lait, a frozen version is available, as well as a short menu of entrees, snacks like popcorn and ice cream, and even beer and Irish Coffee.
The cafe is open now, but the big Grand Opening celebration is this Tuesday with festivities and free beignets!
