In case you missed it, the 20-year addition of the bridge toll to the New Orleans Crescent City Connection vote has apparently narrowly passed - by just 16 votes - although there may be a recount or challenge of the tally, perhaps especially the hand-counted votes. The election results were released after counting delayed mail-in military votes due to the Veteran's Day Holiday.
The reported final vote count: 154,389 for the toll and 154,373 against the toll. The toll extension won in Orleans Parish and lost in Jefferson and Plaquemines Parishes.
